Urlan Project Home

The Urlan Project is an exploration of language oriented programming. We are interested in small languages which don't rely on multi-megabyte environments, but hit a 'sweet spot' of features, functionality, and simplicity.

There are currently two related sub-projects: Orca & Thune. These are interpreted, homoiconic languages.

Orca closely emulates the REBOL language.

Thune is a Forth-like language using a datatype and context system derived from Orca.
